Our Policies

Payment & Cancellation Policy

A $60 deposit will be requested during high demand dates, holidays and summer break to hold your reservation. If your stay is canceled within 72 hours of arrival, the deposit is non refundable.

Payment is due in full, upon arrival. Please be prepared to pay via cash or credit/debit card. 6% Kentucky Sales Tax added at check-in. 3.5% credit/debit card user fee added at check-in. Checks are not accepted.

We have a 72-hour cancellation fee. A $60 cancellation fee will be requested via text for all cancellations or no-shows within 72-hour of arrival.

There are no refunds for early pickups.

Check-In / Arrival Policy

Prior to arrival, you are required to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including Bordetella/Kennel Cough and Canine Influenza. Vaccinations MUST be administered and up-to-date no less than five (5) days prior to arrival to ensure effeciveness of vaccines. Any pet without proof of all required vaccinations will not be permitted to stay. This is to ensure the safety of your pet and our other guests.

Pets MUST be on parasite, flea and tick prevention, and worming medication. Any type of flea/tick prevention is fine. Flea/tick prevention must be administered 12 months/year.

All vaccinations must be administered via a veterinarian for clarification and verification. It is recommended to text vaccination records to 606-312-9032 at time of scheduling for verification. We will check your records to ensure you have all required vaccinations to avoid any delays at check-in.

All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier when arriving at our facility.

For the safety of our staff and other guests, we do not accept aggressive pets.

All guests must be signed in.

All customers must sign a waiver that will stay in effect for 6 months.

At time of arrival please let us know if you would like to add an Exit Bath. Pricing depends on size.

Please respect our business hours and plan accordingly to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to closing so your pet(s) are fed and watered, settled in and receive the attention they deserve. Please check our hours page for more information. We appreciate your cooperation.

Medication Policy

We will happily administer chewable medications as instructed.

Non-chewable medications will be administered via a pill-pocket ONLY. We will not forcibly administer a medication to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Pill-Pockets can be purchased at most retail shops. We do keep them on-hand for $1 per pocket.

We DO NOT administer injections, ear and eye drops, or salves.

All policies are in place to protect our guests and our staff.

Food, Treats, Bedding & Toys Policy

There may be an additional charge for refrigerated and/or heated foods or extra food handling via food separation.

We provide sanitized stainless steel bowls and sanitized bedding for each guest. We also provide cat litter for our feline guests. We can also provide toys and food for our guests for an additional fee, upon request.

No outside bedding is permitted. Each guest is given a clean blanket or bed for their comfort. We use our own bedding to ensure bedding is clean and disinfected. Rooms are kept clean and blankets changed as needed.

Customers are requested to provide food, toys, treats for each guest. Please no rawhide or squeaky toys for safety reasons. No return guarantee of toy(s) due to loss or damage.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited:
• Glass containers, scoops, or anything that can shatter if dropped
• Rawhide of any kind, including pig ears
• Squeaky toys
• Outside bedding

You Provide

Your Pet

Be sure to bring your pet on a leash or in a carrier for the safety of your pet, our staff, and the other guests.

Food

We encourage you to bring your own pet food, as this will defray cost for the visit and most importantly provide consistency for your pet(s).

However, we do keep a fresh supply of food on hand at $5.00 per guest, per day. For an additional charge a microwave and fridge are located in the kitchen to warm homemade pet food and keep food and medications fresh.

Treats

You can provide treats to be provided to your pet during their stay. Please no rawhide due to hazards.

Toys

You can bring a toy for your pet to play with during their stay. Please no rawhide or stuffed/squeaky toys due to hazards. We cannot guarantee toys will be returned due to loss or damage. If your pet cannot live without a favorite toy it is recommended to keep it at home.

Leash or Pet Carrier

For the safety of your pet, our staff, and other guests, all pets must arrive on a leash or in a pet carrier.

DO NOT BRING

The following items are prohibited:
• Glass containers or anything that can shatter if dropped
• Rawhide
• Stuffed toys with a squeaker
• Outside bedding

We Provide

Bedding For All Guests

Each guest is given a clean blanket or bed for their comfort. We use our own bedding to ensure bedding is clean and disinfected. Rooms are kept clean and blankets changed as needed. You are not required to bring bedding or bowls.

Bowls & Measuring Scoops

Each room has a set of stainless steel food & water bowls that are held in place to prevent spillage. The bowls are disinfected after each guest by a dishwasher. A container is provided for each guest room to keep foods, treats, and medications fresh and organized.

Playtime & Hugs

Dog guest(s) are turned out into one of the seven available play yards 2- 3 times each day. This ensures that every guest gets plenty of outdoor time, interaction, and exercise during their stay. Our guests DO NOT interact with each other to assure the safety of our staff and other guests.

Feline Guests

We provide cat litter and a disposable scratching post for our feline guests.

Food (Upon Request)

We can provide food for your pet at an additional charge, upon request.

Toys (Upon Request)

We can provide toys for your pet at an additional charge, upon request.

Exit Bath (Upon Request)

Request an exit bath at Arrival and have a clean, and fresh smelling Fur-baby when you pick up during our business hours. Prices are according to the size of your dog.
